My name is Amy Oxford and I'm 23 years old and from Southern Illinois. I'm a proud pageant mama, to my little miracle baby, who isn't quite a baby anymore! Callie Jaye is 14 months old today! I'm married to my soulmate, Jamal, who is employed with the Illinois Department of Corrections, as a Youth Supervisor II at our local Youth Facility. I am director of "Little Miss Perfection Pageant", where everyone leaves with a trophy. However, we are taking a break through the holidays due to my health. (I suffer from Lupus and the stress of everything going on was starting to effect my health). Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce to you an exciting pageant system. The
Little Miss U.S. Beauties Princess Pageant system. Our pageant is
unique to the childrens pageantry world. We will have a simple, age
appropriate opening number, sporty competition, sunday best/party
dress competition. Our contestants will give a flower to there
chaperone on stage. Check out our website for more details and apply
online for your state title.
We are now awarding at large state titles to all the states on the
east cost. The entry fee covers state winners prize package and
national pageant fees. Our state winners will compete at our 2002
National Little Miss U.S. Beauties Princess Pageant to vie for the

My sewing sucks, lol. But I'm awesome at design. My long legs mini-me is way
to tall for her sportswears and thus everyting went on the auction block,lol.
I do my own beadwork too and have a neat idea. The spostwear was ebing made
but the person kept it after the last fitting and I haven't heard anything
since and didn't make a big deal of it. Well anyway moving on and gonna try
to have it done again from my design.

Can't remember which lists I did an intro for and which I didn't, so
forgive me if this is a repeat for you.
Here's my intro:
Hi, my name is Holly Gaskell, age 35, SAHM, wife for 13 years (next month)
to dh Larry, mom to darling kids: Joe (11 1/2), Kirsten (8) and Nate (18
months). Kirsten & Nate are my kids that do pageants; Joe is just a
typical boy....no pageants for him, and that is fine with me. LOL
This year (2001) was a real roller-coaster of a year for me
healthwise, and I am so looking forward to a happy and healthy 2002 (I
hope, I hope)!!!!!! I just told my hubby, all I want for Christmas is to
be healthy! LOL!
I just joined a ladies' bowling league (yay!) which is really going
to be a lot of fun for me! I love to bowl. I'm not too good at it, but I
think I am improving! (yay!) Also, I am a brand new Brownie Troop
leader.....first meeting was last night and went well (yay again!)......and
I am a very busy mom & wife & friend......and of course I have been very
busy sewing/decorating pageant clothes.....and of course right now I am
trying to get ready for Christmas too!

Ok its not Wed. but I have been off for awhile. I have a patriotic wear I
need to sell. Very cute. Comes with a blue halter top with stars on it. Blue
pants too. The jacket is got stripes and stars on it. Great with or without
the jacket. size 4/5. Lots of room to alter up or down. Worn only once.
Asking $50.00 but I might be willing to go a little lower.
Also Berkly's dress is going to be too small soon. IT sad cuz we just got it.

I was just thinking about people and how things go in life, and I wanted to tell everyone, that I have the greatest group of Moms ever. Our State and National Moms are just awesome. Several of them have been through some major crisis's this year and they have survived. Also, we have been through some major things and it has slowed me down in getting some things done that should have been done sooner, and they have just been great!! Dear Santa,
Listen you fat troll, I've been saving your ass every
year, being the perfect Christmas present, wearing skimpy bathing suits
in
December and dressing in fake Chanel at sappy tea parties. I hate to
break
it to ya Santa, but it's pay back time. There had better be some changes
around here, or I'm gonna call for a nationwide meltdown, and trust me,
you
don't wanna be around to smell it. These are my demands for Christmas
2001:
1. Sweat pants and an oversized sweatshirt. I'm sick of looking like

hooker in hot pink bikinis. Do you have any idea what it feels like to

nylon and Velcro up your butt? I don't suppose you do.
2. Real underwear that can be pulled on and off. That cheap-o molded
underwear some genius at Mattel came up with looks like
cellulite!
3. A REAL man... I don't care if you have to go to Hasbro to get him,

me GI JOE. Hell, I'd take Tickle-Me-Elmo over that
pathetic bump of a boy-toy, Ken. And what was up with that earring
anyway?

4. It's about time you made us all anatomically correct. Give me arms

actually bend so I can push the aforementioned Ken-wimp away once he,

is anatomically correct.
5. Breast reduction surgery. 'Nuf said.
6. A jog bra. To wear until I get the surgery.
7. A new career. CEOs and VPs make real money.
8. A new, more 90s persona. Maybe "PMS Barbie," complete with a pint of
cookie dough ice cream and a bag of chips.
9. No more McDonald's endorsements. The grease is wrecking my vinyl
complexion.
10. Mattel stock options. It's been 40 years -- I think I deserve a
piece
of the action.
Considering my valuable contribution to both society and Mattel, I think
these demands are reasonable. If you don't like it, you can find
yourself a
new bitch for next Christmas. It's that simple.

Hi everyone...just a quick note to let you know we have not forgotten about our November contestants. Our contest is closed for November and judging will begin on Saturday. I have been on Jury Service for the past week and a half and am expected to continue Jury Service for another 2 weeks... therefore I haven't had the time necessary to devote my attention to the contest. We have 5 contestants (two of which still need to be posted). Even though our rules indicate we need 6 contestants in order to award the $100, we are going to award it anyway. :) I will have the latest contestants posted on Saturday and will have my judges judging by Satruday evening. IT WOULD NOT CONNECT AT ALL, SAID THE MODEM WAS MISSING, ACTUALLY IT SAID ALOT OF DIVERSE THINGS... AND BY THEN I WAS BUGGIN' YA'LL ! BIGTIME!
THEN THEY SAID IT WAS READING THE WRONG PORT..OK FINE... FIX IT!
TOOK IT HOME, GUESS WHAT? IT WAS NOT FIXED! NOT EVEN!
THEY REFORMATED THEY DID THIS AND THAT BOY WAS I JONES'N FOR MY INTERNET! TALK ABOUT SWEATING BULLETS!

SO WE HAVE A NEW COMPUTER!!!!
OH ITS AWESOME AND YES YA'LL I HAVE FINALLY STEPPED INTO THE WORLD WITH WINDOWS 98 AND WINDOWS 95 IS JUST A THING OF THE PAST. MY GOODNESS THIS IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT!
THE PCU TAKES UP MUCH LESS SPACE ON MY DESK : ) THIS WHOLE SYSTEM JUST IS ROCKING MY WORLD : )

I could really use some right now. I have been having some health issues (fatigue, muscle weakness, exhaustion, muscle aches, etc.) so the Dr. said it my be Hypothyroidism (She said my thyroid felt enlarged so that's probably what it was) Well, my thyroid test came back normal, and She checked for everything else, but one. Now I'm being tested for Lupus. A few people in my family have had it, so it does run in my family. I'm really scared and worried about it. I have to wait another week before the test results come back and I think I may lose my mind before then. It seems like such a long time to wait. Please, if you can, say a prayer for me that it all turns out ok. I hate to ask for prayers for myself because I know there are others who need them more than I do, and it makes me feel selfish. I'm just really scared.

OMG I just watched jenny jones. What a negative image they gave pageants. Lil miss Savannah was sooo adorable as usual and didnt know the others but they are also adorable!!! People need to grow up and get a life just because they want to sit on their lazy butts at home and not do anything to raise a childs self esteem and confidence (which is im sure what many pageant mothers want for their kids..forgive me if im wrong:) then leave everyone else alone. There are certain points where people go too far but the vast majority of pageants are a GREAT experience. I'd love to give jenny a piece of my mind....ARGH~
